Studying

Hello everyone,

This week has been very busy and exciting. I spent most of the time in university studying and going to classes. This week we had this very interesting smelling test. That consisted of us putting 30 different ingredients in 30 jars, and trying to guess them with closed eyes depending only on our nose. It was really cool to see how many I can guess, and mostly to learn how to properly smell ingredients. I learned about Retro nasal smell, and how it affects your receptors. We were also given an assignment on Bulgarian wines, which meant I got to read really interesting books on the topic, and learn so much about my own country that I have not heard of before. I also got my hands on a really cool pastry book and I can’t wait to flip through it.

One of the best parts of the week was that we got to have classes on the beach and totally relax and enjoy the amazing weather, while exploring the area. Next great news is that Maria came back from Tenerife and now we can be students together again, reunited and ready for greatness..
