One of the last
Hello everyone, I hope everything is good with you, This week was one of my last weeks here and I can feel myself getting a bit sad and excited at the same time, since I am realizing that soon this adventure will be over. In the kitchen in my old station the things have not changed a lot … I am still making the pure and all the other tasks I usually had before. The good thing is that if I finish my work early they allow me to go and help the other stations. And the station I usually chose is starters because they do have the biggest amount of work plus right now they are three trainees and only one chef de partie and usually after the chef de partie there is always his helper…. Anyway one of my friends Dimitar is in this station and I asked him if he could teach me how to shuck and oyster, he was happy to do it because he wanted someone else to be able to do it so sometimes when he didn’t have time I could take over. It was AWESOEME and I did a pretty good job, and it made my week, I felt like I learned something new. Of course for the rest of the service I had to return to my station and help because now there is a new guy and we are trying to teach him everything and make him feel secure.
During the off days, we celebrated the birthday of the chef de partie of pastry, with a barbeque on the beach and it was very fun and relaxing.
Well that is it for this week, the next one will be the last one in M.B and I really don’t know how I am going to feel … Byeee till next time.
