Quenelles!

Hello everyone, The past week has been calm with not much happening… I have good news tough I am getting better with the making of the lemons, every time I make them I manage to get more and more out of the mold without breaking them. The sous chef has already left them completely to me and I consult with him only if there is some problem.

Also I am not sure if I told you but in Thoko I also learnt how to do Quenelles. They represent a perfectly shaped scoop of ice cream, the catch is that it is shaped very much like an egg and there are two traditional ways to do it. I am happy to say I am capable to do them both… So when in M.B they saw I can do them, they let me plate the desserts and I am very happy that I can do any dessert on my own.

And the off days.. well this time we decided to relax completely and just stay home watch movies and EAT and of course a little bit of beach never hurt nobody.
