Last week for now..

Hello everyone, This week was our last week before the restaurant closes for one month. It was a very good and kind of busy week. The last day of the week we had 62 people, including one big reservation for 21 people, it was amazing, everyone wished to each other a “Good service”, and surprisingly the service went very smooth and fast, there were no hold ups and distractions everything was as we would say in the kitchen “PIM PAM”. Of course if the restaurant is closing that mean that we had to clean a lot more after including all the machines, and tools and ass well to film everything and put it in storage. At the end there was a lot of moving and arraigning stuff but we finished not as late as we thought we would plus everyone was in a grate mood, very cheerful and of course a bit nostalgic. After we finished work we went out to party and to say goodbye to each other, with some of the colleagues we had to say goodbye forever because they are changing the restaurant…. There were hugs tears and so on, but I think the additional drama was because we were all so tired and most of them are Spanish after all. You are probably wondering what is going to happen with us during the time the restaurant is closed… well we are going to another Martin Berasategui restaurant again in Abama called Thoko, it has no Michelin stars and we are not going to work as may hours as we did in M.B so at least we are going to have more time to rest and actually meet the island. As we have already started with Maria during the off days…
